Hello,

     I've written a few books, but this is my first blog!  As you can tell from the blog's title, the focus here is on real street fighting research and self-defense training.  This blog is also in support of my new book, "Real Fighting -- Real Facts:  The Report!" To write this book, I watched and analyzed 400 real street fight videos.  I started the research for this book because of my realization that when martial artists say things like, "most street fights go to the ground," they are saying this based only on assumption and folklore and not based on facts or any scientific research.
